My
name is Jabari Blackmon, I am 15 years old, and I am from Durham, NC. I
recently made a temporary move to New York City to pursue interests in philanthropy
and journalism. I learned about Harlem Live from different contacts of mine
and I immediately sought an opportunity here. Currently, I’m a social
entrepreneur and I have founded a number of nonprofit organizations and
projects. In the fall I’ll be going to the 11th Grade. After high
school, I hope to attend Columbia University and study Business & Journalism.
When I graduate from college, I want to become an entrepreneur in New York
