High School Memories

E-mail Print PDF

In 6th grade I had always wondered what it would be like in high school especially as a freshman. I wondered was there actually such a thing as freshman Friday. Well I hoped that there would not be because then it would be very painful, and well, I wouldn’t feel very happy. Well 7th and 8th grade went pretty well. I had lots of fun. But I started to grow up more. For the senior trip, I went to a carnival. It was awesome. All the rides were free but it was expensive. The school I chose to go to was aviation as my first one, and my second choice was an information technology high school. The bad thing was that I didn't get accepted into aviation. Instead I went to information technology high school. I didn't mind going into that high school. It was tech high school so I was interested in that. The summer was great. I had lots of fun. We went to the beach with the whole family met new people, and went to Ecuador. When I started of as a freshman I thought that it was going to be a hard school and that the people there weren't going to be very friendly. However it turns out that most people there were very friendly and nice.

When freshman Friday arrived only a couple of freshman were bothered. Good thing it wasn't me. Anyway it wasn't that hard to make friends there either. That year went pretty well. For some reason not being racist but most of the teachers in my school were Asian but it is really easy to learn there too. Well there were a couple of my main friends that I used to hang with like Sahan, Noor, Herbert, Yuki, Jovan, and Anthone. We used to hang out like everyday. Well it was kind of funny because out of all of them I was the shortest one there because in my school well, everyone was like much taller than me. But it would was fun. We would hang out in the park. Since my friend Jovan skateboarded, I like to use his skateboard. It was too fast for me but I didn't care, I liked to skateboard. He is really good at it and he is also a good teacher when it comes to skateboarding though sometimes he can explain the tricks in mathematical terms, which can be confusing. But I did learn some tricks so I guess it went well. Then comes my friend Noor. Her name stands for moon but that’s kind of cool well she is very nice and well she rarely gets pissed of. Then there is Herbert, well, he is from Brazil and he is currently 15 right now. So yeah he is still taller than me so I feel pretty short when it comes to that well out of that is good at giving advice. Then there is Sahan well lets just put it short sometimes he’s cool but most of the time he's a dushbag. Then there is Yuki. Well to me he is an awesome person though he might not talk much. He is Japanese and he is good with tech that and he knows karate and tae kwon do. Then my last friend Anthone was a sophomore during that time. Anyways he was happy like 24/7 so yeah he kept our group alive. Yeah well the year went great. I learned a lot of stuff well the regents weren't so hard and after them we had a water fight. It was awesome though I made Herbert fall by accident and pretty much he was chasing me around for like half an hour, but when he caught up to me, well lets just say that it wasn't pretty. I got a socked and wet and well Jovan threw Noor into a sprinkler and she had eye liner on so, well, it looked like she was crying black but she was chasing him around with like three water balloons. It was hilarious. But now I think that high school is awesome. You get to have a great time with your friends.
