Part II - Cannabis - FYI

E-mail Print PDF
I quit smoking weed in January of 2006. I haven’t used it since. Although I was a loyal to the Dutch for almost 5 years, I think it is time to cut the umbilical cord. This sentence says a lot about my relationship with the drug. I love to get high as much as Afroman but High School is over and supervisors at work don’t give weed breaks. Although I have quit I thought I would give readers the benefit of my experience. This article isn’t to promote the use of weed or to show the benefits of it. Instead it is to present the perspective of experience. People have been smoking weed since the 1700’s and possibly well before that. We should be able to talk about the drug in ways we have never been able to discuss it before and hear the stories of people who have actually been avid users.

Note:
The weed you see in the back of High Times or in Medical Studies ads is not real weed.

How it’s smoked:

Dutch Wraps
Pros: Dutch’s are one of the easiest and cheapest ways to smoke. You can easily transport them anywhere you go. Carrying Marijuana in any form illegal.
Cons: Chicken Places or other fast food restaurants that sell dutches usually buy them in boxes and they don’t sell as well. What this means for your is you might buy a stale dutch which falls apart really easily when you are trying to roll them. Carrying Marijuana in any form illegal.

Bongs
Pros: They will get you messed up fast. Plus they usually look really hot.
Cons: They’re a little hard to carry around a bong with you. Carrying Marijuana in any form illegal.

Joints
Pros: Good for personal use. Creates a feeling of intimacy if you want to share with your partner
Cons: Carrying Marijuana in any form illegal.

Things I haven’t smoked out of but others have (desperate times call for desperate measures):
• Tampons
• Toilet paper rolls
• Pens

Other methods of use that I haven’t tried include:
• Bowls
• Pipes
• Cookies
• Eat it plain
