E-mail Print PDF
malikMy name is Malik Mayo and I am 14 years old. In a lot of ways I have changed over the period of 5 years. My height has changed. My personality has changed. Also a way that I have changed is the way I act at school and at other places. Over 5 years I have really grown. I was never was real tall I started to grow like in 3rd grade I had an unnatural growth spurt. I have been growing eve since. I would've never believed that I would be his tall I’m 6'1 I was 5'4 in 5th grade. I was really shocked every time I came back from summer vacation seeing that everyone else was really shorter then me. Also over 5 years I have gained a lot of patience. I learned that having patience would help me in the long run. I helped me get into a music high school, which I never thought I would be going to. I also learned instruments. I always thought that instruments were nerds but when I tried 1 I really loved it. The instrument I play is the trombone I love to play it. The way I act in public and at school has changed also. I used to be loud and obnoxious. I got into many fights from my mouth. But when I almost got kicked out of my school, I woke up. I thought where would I be if I got kicked out of school. My vocabulary has also gotten bigger I am now able to say words that I thought only adults knew. But f they could learn the so can I that is what made me want to learn more words. My personality has also changed. I used to be grumpy and always so up tight a lot of people wouldn't hang out with me I had a couple of friend but when they transferred.  Had nobody so started to talk people and started to open up and I started to get a lot of more friends they started to call me brown bear but the girls always called me teddy which I didn't mind. Over the past 5 years I have changed a lot and I am grate full for those changes.
