After completing school Bloomberg worked at Saloman where he climbed the ranks. Bloomberg and a partner created Bloomberg news, which focuses on the financial and business sectors of the economy. However Bloomberg wanted to make a bigger impact on New York City. He thought that he could get this accomplished by running for mayor.

Bloomberg campaign is based on the accomplishments he made in the last eight years, For instance, the decrease in crime. Also, the increase in test scores for New York City schools. This making NYC one of the safest big cities; also estabcomptrollerthompsonlished 311, a telephone number that provides information to New Yorkers.

On 125th st mixed reviews were given about the Mayor. Gary age 51 stated that the Mayor should not run again due to him already being filthy rich. Sophie, 46 stated that Mayor Bloomberg could do a better job for teenagers with education and job. Also, that he should cut down on MTA fair.

Bloomberg’s running mate in the democratic sector is Bill Thompson. He is currently the New York City comptroller. The Democratic Party has high hopes for him. From the census taken on 125th st harlemites don’t want to see Bloomberg run for a third term.
