Rome,Italy is very diffrent from the United States. Here are some of things that the staff of Harlemlive noticed while visiting Rome:

1) Honor system on the train and the bus  
2) Smoking is allowed everywhere

3) You must pay and be given a reciept before you are given the product you purchased
 
  4) Size of the cars

5) People are shorter

6) The bidet in the bathroom
7) The excessive use of scooters
  8) Street lights on the corner

9) small servings of food
  10) Wine with everything

11) Encourage people to drink
 
  12) Their perception of Americans (they like color)
13) Love to wear purple clothing (Italian females)  
 
14) Like to wear really tight paints, high boots, and smokingk, and cell phones
   
15) the people are sometimes ruder that Americans, especially on the trains
