interview
In the Election I think that both candidates are hypocrites, even though they seem to be against drugs and chemical abuse. They ignore the big business tobacco and liquor companies. On drug policies both candidates seem to have the same opinion but have very different strategies on how to work with it.

Gore is more for ways and programs to keep drug offenders out of prison and helping them kick their habit. On the other hand George W. Bush is on the drug war band-wagon and is more partial to the imprisonment of drug offenders and feels that if the sellers and users are off the street then the drugs will be off the street.

I feel like marijuana, crack and cocacine are scapegoats so that powder coke, the high class drug, along with alcohol and tobacco can continue to buy the legislature in order to sling the real drugs and hide the real drug dealers. If I had to vote it would be for Gore because he is a Democrat and so am I.
