The presidential election is finally over. HarlemLive went into our community and interviewed a few people on their thoughts. In general, we found that most were fatigued with the whole election aftermath.

How do you feel about the new president elect?
To be brutally honest I really don't know much about 'Dubbya,' but if he is anything like his father, we're in for hell for the next four years.
What's the best we could expect from a Bush presidency?
I will say one thing, which I liked about his pops. They have a strong international stance. In a certain way it kinda makes me feel somewhat safe.
What's the worst we could expect from a Bush presidency?
I really wouldn't say it would be that bad. The changes aren't going to be dramatic. But certain individuals will see a change. Me personally, I wouldn't see a change with my lifestyle.
Do you see Gore running in four years?
Heck yeah. I see him winning, too. And I actually see him staying on for eight years.
