Have you heard about the cities proported budget cuts? Yes I have heard about it.
What are your feelings on the budget cut? The city sholdn’t cut the money from things that we need like schools, because it will go towards things that we need less of such as prisons. “I feel that they sholud put the money towards after- school programs, job-training, drug treatment and anti-violence programs. he mayor’s cuts are opening more avenues to violence and stereotyping in and of our communities. “I know how negative a feeling it is to be behind bars because I just got released three months ago”.

What are your feelings on the budget cut? I don’t like it because if we are supposed to be the future. How can we learn if we have no decent school lunch. The books that we get are in garbage condition. What do you feel should be other alternative means of bringing money to the city; besides the cuts? Instead of making brand new trains they sould put some of that money into the school systems. Also they can stop putting so much money into the private schools and send it towards the public schools where it is needed most. Another thing is that with the cut backs in summer and night schools there are going to be a lot of dropouts.

What are your feelings on the budget cut? it’s not right that rich people keep get the money that should be sent to the poorer people that are in more need of it.

What do you feel should be other alternative means of bringing money to the city; besides the cuts? They should stop giving out garbage to poor people such as ;bad lunches and cheap text books.
