Do you know of the most recent decision in the Abner Louima case? What do you know? How do you feel about this decision? Was it fair? Why or why not?

Yes. Technically justice must prevail. If it was you who was being trailed then you should have the same benefit of the doubt. If the police officers are innocent then they should have a chance to prove it.

What do you think this means to the black community now?

I think we will have a chance to look at this in a far light. We should keep an open mind because this is unjustly. This will give us the black community a chance to look at the justice community.

Do you think post 9-11 loyalty played a role in the police officers getting off?

No because what happened on 9-11 was very emotional

Do you know of the most recent decision in the Abner Louima case? What do you know? How do you feel about this decision? Was it fair? Why or why not?

Yes. I think that Alomar Louima should come out on top.

What do you think this means to the black community now?

When the police offices are trialed again then I think if they are innocent then they should be freed. But if they are guilty then they should get put away.

Do you think post 9-11 loyalty played a role in the police officers getting off?

I think 9-11 had something to do with the results of the trail. I think this because police officers and fire men put them online to save lives and some even died, so I think they jury gave the police gave them the benefit of the doubt

Do you know of the most recent decision in the Abner Louima case? What do you know ? Howdo you feel about this decision? Was it fair? Why or why not?

I donÕt think the outcomes sounded good

What do you think this means to the black community now?

The outcome should just be depended on the trail.

Do you think post 9-11 loyalty played a role in the police officers getting off?

IÕm not surprise that the tragedy on 9-11 reflected on the police officers because it was very emotional.

Do you know of the most recent decision in the Abner Louima case? What do you know ? How do you feel about this decision? Was it fair? Why or why not?

We should know that the jury led the police out of jail. It is clear that one of the police officers had something to do with.

What do you think this means to the black community now?

Yes, I think this will affect the black community. IÕm surprise that there werenÕt any riots.

Do you think post 9-11 loyalty played a role in the police officers getting off?

Yes I think that 9-11 had something to do with the police officers getting the decision that they did. I think this because people think now, after 9-11 that police officers and firemen can do no wrong. Even the government is putting a lot of trust in them.

Do you know of the most recent decision in the Abner Louima case? What do you know ? How do you feel about this decision? Was it fair? Why or why not?Yes. I didnÕt think that it was believable. I donÕt understand why the judge threw out the case just because of insufficient evidence.

What do you think this means to the black community now?

Yes because the black community will have to stand up if they want to get justice. If they donÕt then there will be no justice. The black community should wait until the final decision is made, then if they donÕt like the outcome of it, they should take a stand. They are a lot of histories with the police and the black community.

Do you think post 9-11 loyalty played a role in the police officers getting off?

No I donÕt think there is no connection with the 9-11 tragedy. The judge threw out the case only because of insufficient evidence.
