It seems that each day everyone is becoming more eco-friendly. From hybrid buses, to recycling bins, green bags at local department stores and more. People in the city are being more aware of their environment. Making the world a better place is helping out the community in different ways.
People are recycling more and making sure that the streets aren’t being littered. People feel that the streets are littered with trash because others are so lazy to throw it out in the garbage can. If more garbage cans were to be put on every sidewalk, there would be less trash on the ground. If people see that the streets are clean, they wouldn’t go ahead and litter.
Trees provide oxygen and each year trees are being cut down. Why? For many different reasons. People believe that trees are being cut down because new buildings are being built. Others believe that plants should be grown instead. More oxygen would be in the air.
Some people believe that there should be more hybrid cars in site. Yes, it is very expensive but it would help the community to be less polluted in the air. Many people are being eco-friendly by buying those types of vehicles. The price of gas is rising every year while you only need a battery for a hybrid car.
People are becoming more eco-friendly each day. They are either using the recycling bin, hybrid cars, and spreading the word.
Dacia has been with Harlem Live since July of 2008. Dacia has taken the role of leader of her team and acted the part as she leads her team successfully winning three presentation challenges.
