Reggie Williams, 14, has been involved in acting since fifth grade when he was cast as the lead in the African Folktale, "A Story, A Story." He was an audience favorite and was cast in several plays in the years that followed.
Reggie was able to obtain a scholarship from TADA, an organization that teaches children theater work and produces several plays each year."I've gotten better experience with learning," said Reggie as he returned from his last TADA class, where the 16 class members performed several skits and dance numbers. "I've learned how to project my voice, sing and act," said Reggie.

While taking classes, Reggie found out about auditions TADA was offering for their new theatrical works. He was cast in two separate productions. During one performance, Reggie was noticed by a talent agent and was offered another scholarship to attend acting classes with "Way Off Broadway".

Attending his new classes required Reggie to take three subway lines and the Long Island Railroad. At first his father was skeptical about letting Reggie travel on his own, but after Reggie learned how to get there the first week, he showed his dad and his dad agreed that Reggie could commute like a grown-up.

Reggie now lives with his father, Raymond. His older brother recently moved out. Reggie's mother died when he was in fourth grade.

Reggie says he has enjoyed his acting experiences saying, "I feel like I've accomplished something."
