∑ Over-crowding
∑ Lack of dedication and sincerity from teachers, including principals, and students pick on it. They just want to pick up their paychecks — Black/Hispanic schools.
What improvements do you think can be made in New York City schools?
Raise salary of teachers—they spend more time with students that parents. Government don’ care about student body so they don’t pay teachers enough:
Ex: sanitation workers get paid more than teachers.

Big classes, limited resources/books, less educated teachers – as supposed to Westchester.

Using same resources they use in Westchester & Urban communities.

District superintendent office was not close with parents, too much profitization skipping on kids here.

New paint, new doors--- remodeling. Stars should make use programs like PAL.
