Public Speaks about Obama

E-mail Print PDF
President Obama has been in office since the inauguration in February. Now that a few months have passed, it is about time the American people start to judge the new, young, and controversial president. Harlem Live went out to find out what the public thinks about president Obama’s current progress in the white house.  Bobby a cooperative man age forty-two, living in Harlem had mixed opinions on Mr.Obamas progress. We asked a couple of questions about how Obama is doing and if he is meeting expectations. “I don't know. He's doing all right so far; we have to give him more time. It's not even a year, I want to give him more time”. Bobby also agreed with the shutdown of Guantanamo Bay. “It was a good idea, a lot of prisoners were there that don't even need to be there”.” Very good, absolutely it's been a long journey for him.
I believe he's doing perfectly fine so far”, is what Teresa a forty-three year old women walking through Harlem had to say about her opinion of Barack's performance and her expectations. We asked her opinion on Obama's decision to bail out GM. “His decision was the tight One. He's trying to help them through there time of hardship”. To Teresa, Obama is doing a wonderful job. Poli an 18-year-old girl living in Harlem gave us some elf president Obama's progress. “I think he's doing okay so far he has a lot to fix for our country and the world”. She has complete faith in the president’s decisions and his future decisions.
