Many people came out to the march White, Black, Puerto Rican, Haitian, Jamaican - you name it they were there. The crowd stood together as they shouted things on their minds. Signs were held up with many different things written. Some people even brought plungers with words that read "Volpe: I did It".

People that came out were tired of police beating up people for nothing, They were tired of the abuse given by officers. One man that I spoke to was very angry at the police. He was tired of being stopped by a officer for no reason. He didn't understand why they were doing this but he wasn't going to let this abuse go on any more. After the crowd met up at the Brooklyn Public Library we saw a man that was beaten up by a Police Officer a year ago.

This man told his story about what happened to him.You can see the brace on this man's upper body, The only difference between him and Abner Louima is the plunger. This man spoke with anger and no regret to what he had to say about New York's "Finest."

I had a chance to speak to one of sponsors of the march. She felt that the abuse had to stop and justice had to be served. She talked about the Blue Line of Silence. They call the precients Blue Line of Silence because the good Cops stay quiet and don't tell people about the abuse that goes on in the precincts.

One of the Marshalls spoke his true feelings before the March. He pointed out that the March will give a big message. The message is "We ain't gonna take it no more."
