There's a possibility, not a large one, but there is a chance however slim for the New York Knicks to win the playoffs. Slim chances are what they seem to thrive on. After creating NBA history by winning three series determining games on the other teams home court, you have to wonder if they are on a roll. Last year, they played to beat the buzzer, in Miami, with a Patrick Ewing-less team. That last minute shot from Allan Houston which fell through and helped send them on route to the NBA finals, seemed to be touched by angels.

Walk
They also widened eyes, being one of the few eighth-seeded teams to beat a first seeded team in a playoff series. And let's not forget how they toppled the Toronto Raptors with their high flying Vince Carter. I have never been a big fan of Chris Childs but he's beginning to show New York what he is capable of. Let's cross our fingers and hope it not a fluke. Childs, Charlie Ward, and Ewing are
the most criticized Knicks and I feel if we stopped blowing up every mistake they've ever made (past lives as well as present) and notice the good they do the team maybe they will be more productive. Our point guards are among the most criticized in the league. While I believe our shooting guards are more than capable (Houston needs to work on consistency) lets be honest point guards are supposed to run the team.

Run
Now if we take this and roll with it what should it tell you? Our point guards should be considered better than most in the league, seeing how we finished second in our division. But as in other sports, what's on paper isn't always necessarily true. If Chris Childs could keep doing what he's doing combined with a consistent Allan Houston, a confident L.arry Johnson, with the energetic as always Marcus Camby, and a healthy Ewing, a championship ring shouldn't be too much to ask for. Wonder why I didn't mention Latrell Sprewell? Well, as one of my favorite players I have really nothing to say about him except: keep at it cause he's not only doing it, but he's doing it well.
