Bruno Silvar, an Unknown basketball player from Nova Iguaau – Rio de Janeiro – Brazil, was nominated to play in the LUB (Liba Urbanade Basquete) an international basketball team. A young 27 year old with so much knowledge graduated the University o f West Florida, majoring in Business management. What had interested Bruno to pursue a basketball career was an American boy from Chicago that was in his high school and came to Brazil. Bruno Silver got his work visa from Brazil just to play Basketball in the U.S.  He said the most important thing he left behind was family.

He left his workaholic mother behind. On August 6, 2008 Bruno Silver spoke up and said that the U.S needed a change. He said “ What Bush did the economy, cutting money out of the C.I.A and paying no attention to New York while the attack of 9/11 was going on was horrible.  Bruno was going for Hillary but now that she’s out of the election, Bruno is going for Obama. Bruno like the idea of supporting foreigners, and is hoping Obama wins.
He believes that Obama thinks differently than everyone else. Bruno being in the U.S in and out knows about the politics of this nation and wishes that it could be more like Brazil. In Brazil the politics are so called bad in his eyes. Politicians stealing money from the government and the people they trust. Yet Bruno says it’s a friendly place and people help each other. In Bruno opinion living in the U.S you’re more alone.

HarlemLIVE wishes the best of luck to Bruno and his career. Even if Bruno Silver was to fail, by not being recruited by the NBA, he’ll go back to school to earn his master so that one day he can become an agent and manage a team one day.
