Vanessa Hylande, Executive Director

Hylande is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate in International Relations from the University of California at Santa Barbara.  Previously, Vanessa worked for the Council on Foreign Relations as the Coordinator of the Public Health and Bio-Terrorism Task Force and America’s Response to Terrorism Task Force Staff.  She was also a Research Associate for Visiting Fellows Calvin Sims, New York Times and Guillermo Christensen, CIA, as well as for the Project on Capital Flows to Sub-Saharan Africa.  Ms Hylande also worked as a Project Assistant to the Parent Institute for Quality Education at UCSB.

 

Nico Rosario, Program Manager

Nico joins HarlemLIVE from a background in film production and marketing.  Accomplishments include work as the Unit Production Manager for Even So, Short Film, 2009, which was a part of the anthology feature film, State of the Union: The Obama Film Project; Operations Production Assistant, 2006, Tribeca Film Festival, New York, NY where her responsibilities included providing transportation, assisting the sponsorship and distribution departments, and interacting with the company's public relations team. She also worked as a Production Assistant at the Sundance 2003 Filmmaker's Lab and the Screenwriter's Lab for the Sundance Institute in Park City, UT.  Nico holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Video, from Georgia State University Atlanta, GA.  HarlemLIVE is fortunate to have Nico joining our team!
